This is a list of all the men who served with the 2nd Battalion VDC. Some transferred to the AIF, some transferred to the CMF, others moved to another area and transferred to another VDC Battalion but most of them remained in this Unit for the duration of the War. The 2nd Battalion drew its members from Fremantle and the surrounding suburbs.


These reports were compiled in 1942.

Men from the VDC No.2 Battalion - Fremantle, formed the 661st Light Anti Aircraft Battery. The Battery operated as a 'shadow' unit to the CMF unit with the same task.
