This letter was written in pencil on blank pages in the 'Berrima Souvenir January 1st 1917'. It was addressed to Miss Mary Fagan, 365 Hay Street, East Perth.
Troopship 'Berrima' left Adelaide on December 16th, 1916. Further reinforcements embarked in Fremantle. It then sailed for Europe. This souvenir booklet was published on board and was available for the troops to purchase and send home to their families. There are personal annotations throughout the booklet.
