T.S.M.V. Duntroon was used to transport troops and POWs during World War 2.





The 2/11th Infantry Battalion published a Bulletin at irregular intervals ("When wit and fortune will") with contributions from the soldiers. Arthur kept this copy of the bulletin Volume 1, Number 2, Friday March 1, 1940.





Arthur Leggett was amongst the 423 men of the 2/11th Battalion taken prisoner in Greece in 1941. The prisoners wrote newsletters while in the POW camps and Arthur brought some home with him after the war. The following links will access the newsletters.

While in the POW Camp, the men organised events such as pantomimes and concerts.
