VDC No.11 Battalion - North West
This is a list of all the men who served with the 11th Battalion VDC. Some transferred to the AIF, some transferred to the CMF, others moved to another area and transferred to another VDC Battalion but most of them remained in this Unit for the duration of the War. The C and D Companies of the Battalion were placed on the Reserve List on 31st July 1944. Their duties lessened but they continued to hold regular parades and conduct rifle range practice. The entire Unit was disbanded on 31st December 1944.
